Weed Identification in Alberta: Alberta?s Weed Control Act exists to enforce the control of weeds in order to protect landowners and our environment. The Act charges landowners with the responsibility to control weeds on their property, so as to prevent the spread to adjacent properties. For the purposes of the Act, weeds are designated into one of three categories.
