A gentleman is who I am
Thoughtful and considerate
Intent to help and lend a hand
Not hurtful or belligerent
A gentleman I am

An honest man is who I am
Give and take at equal rates
In conflict I will understand
All good deeds appreciate
An honest man I am

A humble man is who I am
Eager to learn and pleased to teach
With due respect I share this land
My open hand within your reach
A humble man I am

An able man is who I am
Complete my work before I play
If others ask I take my stand
I have my say, this is my way
An able man I am

I could be mean, I could be rude
Some people thrive on selfish trips
I stand up for the golden rule
Don't need to play those hurtful tricks

A gentleman, an honest man
A humble man who understands
An able man who does good work
A gentleman I am
