Enchanted Garden

Ergonica Weed Poetry Winner for April, 2005

Upon my knees it’s time to weed,

Within my garden this is my deed.

Flowers blooming of colors arrayed,

Bursts with beauty timely displayed.

Butterflies glide and flutter about,

Hummingbirds gather day in and day out.

Summer days filled with aromas sweet,

Memories kept for later retreat.

And when I think my deed is done,

Up pops a weed one by one.

And to my knees again I go,

For beauty is all I want to show.
